    Frist.

Irinia Sincere: the world's laziest email scammer. Sounds like a webcomic.

    Also: First non-inane post.

The planet {1} is famous for its {2} but {3}.

  • pixel (unregistered)

But your country is in the list! Together with Germany!

    11 bucks for a cheeseburger!

Earth, people, nobody really knows why

I might expext a touch bar to magically iappear on my laptop
iAppear? iWell, iRight, it's MacBook Pro...
  • DQ (unregistered)

No, Belgium must be mentioned twice because we're {42}!

  • Kangaroo (unregistered) in reply to pixel

    Austria is not Australia.

Also, I get the "iappear" (iApplePear) joke, but what to make out of "expext"? I was expecting something different, then again, I am no expert.

Hmh, all European countries that are not part of the EU are missing as well.

  • Carl Witthoft (google)

Am I the only person who recognizes that the nice girl who sent that email is currently in prison, and so is just sending the numeric indices to a bunch of jokes?.

  • Ulysses (unregistered)

Thunderturd is full of integrity issues. Mailbox management crashes, vanished e-mails, hangs at send time, substituted inline images at send time (imagine the potential for embarrassment), nuked e-mail bodies at send time. I can't think of any other app with such epic bugs around its core functionality. Stay the hell away.

  • OldCoder (unregistered) in reply to Ulysses

I can't let that Thunderbird comment slide. I've been using it for years without issue.

    PEBKAC, maybe?

  • Foo AKA Fooo (unregistered) in reply to Kuli

Not quite true: Norway, optionally Iceland and Faroe (depending on your definition of Scandinavia), parts of Russia and soon UK.

  • operagost (unregistered)

    TIL that 1183% = 100%.

  • DartRat (unregistered) in reply to OldCoder

I used Thunderbird for years and it definitely compromised my integrity. And my balance. And my depth perception

  • Rich (unregistered)

DartRat, try the MD20/20 client instead.

We don't know if other drives are hiding in that screenshot.

It down under. Look on the other side of the drop down menu.

The food delivery one? Re-read it: it doesn’t say that the tip is 100% of the order value.

  • Andrew H (unregistered)

TRWTF is ordering a burger from Buffalo Wild Wings.

  • jmm (unregistered)

{1} {2}, a scammer with mad libbing skills!

  • Ran (unregistered)

I think the last one actually makes sense; if you don't have a Touch Bar, then you may not realize that it's a physical thing. Kudos to someone at Microsoft for taking a moment to consider people who can't use the feature, and make sure they won't get confused and try in vain to find it.

  • (nodebb)

    TRWTF is tipping

  • Anonymous (unregistered)

To be fair, two Belgiums have about the same population as Australia...

  • CM (unregistered)

It's lovely that the spam madlib pulls words for just about every part of its content, but it's guaranteed to include "waiting for mutuality". Not to mention "Irina!!"

  • Friendly_Reminder (unregistered)

    Hi {1},

I really liked your {2} last {3}. Hope we can {4} again in the {5}.

    Sincerly yours, {6}.

  • MaxiTB (unregistered)

Holy. Putting Austria with Germany together is some insensible faux pas. Have they never heard of Anschluss ?

  • bobcat (unregistered) in reply to Carl Witthoft

Oh good, someone else has heard that joke. My dad will be thrilled.

You've heard the secondary punchline, yes? Next week, same thing happens with another new guy. He's pretty enthusiastic about the idea, so jumps up on the stage and shouts "22! 37! 419!"... Dead silence. Finally one guy shakes his head and says, "Man, some people just can't tell a joke."

  • bobcat (unregistered) in reply to CM

I noticed that too. Some sort of cross-check? Maybe some way of filtering? They're slinging emails by the millions, many will be invalid, ignore the strings?

  • Piece of cake (unregistered)

Years ago, the Ferrari website to "register your Ferrari" gave as options:

    • Europe
    • North America
    • Rest of the world

I had a screenshot somewhere but lost it.
