With the demise of the MSDN Magazine I may have to back this effort.

"sneak peek". It's a preview, not a stealthy mountain. ;)

Holy freaking hell, you did an amazing job, Pek! I loved it!

All I can say is that we had an amazing source material to work with :)

I'm really glad you liked it (believe me) :)

Never mind the story, where can I get them glasses?

Is it just my imagination, or does the protagonist look like a clean-shaven version of Alex?

Too much fluff. Seems like a good story, but had to quit 2/3 of the way because i couldn't handle the stalling and unnecessary fluff dragging the story on. A shame as it was interesting, but forcing it to last longer than it should be, ruined it for me.

I read the original post and there is no fluff. The story was told exactly as it was written. An excellent story it is, as well.

I get where the "fluff" is coming from. I actually cut a few parts of the original story, but not because I felt it was "fluff". It was simply because of time and budget. A lot of the scenes I feel like drag a little longer than they should because of those limitations and they can be less engaging (and boring to watch). So I can see why people will stop watching. But I believe I kept the atmosphere of a Lovecraftian story as best as I could given with what I had and I'm glad people like it.

I wasn't aware this was going to be a lovecraftian story (or what defines that genre), so this is probably just me not knowing what to expect from the video.

As other comments have also pointed out, i haven't read any lovecraft stories, and don't know what would be expected for such a story. So nothing wrong with the end product, and I've learned that this kind of content just isn't for me.

The link for "Morning Cup of Coding" is incorrect, it goes to: "https://www.humanreadablemag.com/morningcupofcoding".
Correct link: "https://morningcupofcoding.com/" Location: In the section "About Human Readable Magazine" 2nd paragraph.

Nice video, great plot (if not somewhat unbelievable, even for AIX). But since nobody has done it yet, I've gotta be the language Nazi. One does not "Prostate" himself, but rather "Prostrate" in times of apology, as an act of submission, throwing himself on the mercy of his superiors. I really hate to be that guy, but in this context, the difference is significant.

I guess I just expected more animation.
