Don't forget those wonderful "The parameter was incorrect." messages you can get from MFC (hey, don't laugh) when something goes wrong that would have (probably) triggered an assert in debug mode.

Now come on... What can one cat (slightly used) do for its state? Just be careful if you get one with status "seen some hard usage (scratches and some broken corners)"

BTW: How does one "Use" a cat? Ours seem to be very usage unfriendly... Resulting in one Cat-Owner (slightly used, scrached and some broken corners)

So, Morris, your picture of the Amazon page with the search link for "coffee maker with printer" is great and all...but now I want to see a picture of the coffee maker with the printer!

Is it one of those narrow printers that feeds out a tape that tracks how many cups you drank? Or is it a full-size cassette-loaded letter/legal printer that prints full-color prints of coffee stains?

  • Mr Keith (unregistered)

In college, I had a hand-me-down original model Apple Laserwriter as my printer. One late night, as I finished one paper and reloaded the pot for the next, I found out that my dorm circuit breaker could handle a beast of a printer in full cycle, a torchlamp, a computer, and a coffeepot in serial uses, but not in parallel.

Combining a printer and coffeepot into one 750 watt device would actually be a fine thing for the college market.

Back when I worked at my college we used to call the coffee we were given the printer toner, among other aliases. It was not so much because of its color or density as it was because of the taste.

That said, having one device combine both functions wouldn't be a bad idea.

Why not buy it from your former college (used). Automatic load-balancing among the toner and coffee inputs seems like a great feature.
