Besides, you've made a couple errors. You can replace the whole perl command with 'rot13'. And if you don't have 'rot13', you don't need the 'while <>'. It's just a waste. Try:
perl -ne 'tr/a-zA-Z/n-za-mN-ZA-M/; print'
That saves you 11 characters.

The advantage of my Python script, is that it takes the parameter N (from rotN) as an argument. It allowed me to bruteforce and find the N you are using. And it's not affected by your "512 gny" trick :)

the old zipcrypto is flawed. But some zip programs support AES encryption now. (winzip, beta 7zip)

Except it isn't ROT-5, it's ROT-21.
(Maybe if you're going backwards instead of forwards, though... ;p)
