OCAT is TACO backwards. Still not sure what it has to do with Toyota though.

    A: What will this be?

OCAT means that when you click that OK button, you will suddenly be gasping, choking and crying.

Are we sure that's the Clipsal 500? I know the picture is bad, but that doesn't really look like Adelaide (it looks too dark and too steep on the straight - it [i]is[/] V8 racing, though....).

If it is, it gives an indication of either how long before the rest of the world sees it, or how long it takes for things to get posted here - The Clipsal 500 is usually in March!!

Ilya needs to check her store'sring-up policy. We have a few grocery stores who, if the price doesn't ring up the same as marked in the aisle, will pay you the difference. That could be a very lucrative visit to the service desk!

In Michigan, they owe you the difference multiplied by 10 (with a minimum of $1.00, maximum of $5.00). That's only if they overcharge you. Not the same for undercharge.

Around here there is a 'Code of Practice' that requires (should an item scan different to the shelf price) give you the first one free and the remaining at the lower of the shelf or scanned price. Of course, if the Ice-cream scanned at $999 as well then that's what it costs. NOTE: 'Code of Practice' (AFAIK) is not law, it is a Code which most shops claim to adhere to.

Surely the WWAN $9969 thing is meant to be "subtract $30" or similar but they've screwed it up - because if you DON'T order something they are NOT going to charge you more, no matter what. So the function they use to build the string for "add/subtract $amount" behaves like that when you give it the wrong parameters probably or some equivalent idiocy like an uninitialised variable

It only would cost a little more than 6K to get your daily serving of Vitamin C via that ice cream.

eating Ice cream to get your daily dose of Vitamin C would be a bit of a WTF, no?

I know I have seen things like that last one at an indian takeaway

2 pieces of chicken tikka with rice $7.00 without rice: $8.00

You will take the rice and like it.

That picture of the BF2 wtf isn't really a WTF, it's more stupidity on the person running BF2, it seems to me like they've created a shortcut on there desktop trying to auto login but forgot to tell it where the gamedir is. This error is old and is more of a PEBKAC then a WTF.

  • Ilya (unregistered)

you'll all be glad to know the ice cream rang up just fine with the proper price (took them a good month to change the label though, even after i told them). when i used to work at a hardware store, our error'd labels were always a penny and we almost always were attentive enough to not use them.

The "Throat" is where you stick your card in.
    That's what she said!

As for the "no wireless" option, maybe they meant cents, not dollars.

The Inkscape dialog makes perfect sense. It is meant to be read together with the titlebar text. "Inkscape 0.46 Uninstall The file C"?

  • Nameless (unregistered) in reply to random.next

Nah, I'm guessing that there was probably a stray ' there, which cut off the text. ;)

Somehow I think that ATM can't be saved. It's saying the error is terminal :(

Yeah, and given where it's located, I'd say it's throat cancer.
