My secondary school didn't have RE, it was too cool for that.

We, instead, had RPSVE for Religious, Personal, Social, Vocational Education. i.e. religion, growing up, being a human being and getting a job.

That regex maze is also great fun. I bet this dev has just discovered regex and wanted to show off. Whats the point of all the fancy validations you have available, if you doesn't use them?
