Can someone tell me what that French translation said? I'm not very good at reading French. Okay, that's lame. sorry.

But, will someone PLEASE email shelley and then post the response here?

Particularly notice the direction of the gears as a subtle joy.
Then again, the spacing between the gears is quite large, so they might even run in mismatching directions without too much jamming. Quite an accurate picture for many companies, it seems.

Well, I finally bit the bullet and created a Windows Live ID, just for this silly mug, and Microsoft screwed that up royally, so I guess I get no mug and can never log into Microsoft again. So, on balance, it's a pretty good day!

I can't speak for bertram, but what leads me to believe it's always the same person is purely personal preference. In fact, I prefer to believe that all unregistered trolls on this site are actually just one sad little pinhead sitting in his parents' basement entertaining himself with sockpuppets. Let's list the WTFs in the signup process:

    • The email from Microsoft to my Windows Live (hotmail) email went straight to the spam folder.
    • A page saying "Enter your promo code" and "USE THIS PROMO CODE" together. If you already know what I need, why make me re-enter it?
    • Asking for my full name several times in a single form chain. (This was with an existing account!) Giving the error "First Name does not match with expected value. Last Name does not match with expected value." on the LAST entry because I didn't notice one of the MIDDLE entries was pre-filled with the fake name from my hotmail account. Why not detect inconsistent names the FIRST time a different one is given?
