This whole situation is just plain ricockulous. Or should that be riRichardulous?
Admin
I am reminded of a Web forum I came across at random once, some years ago, where a group of people had engaged in an apparently quite serious discussion of "homobad worduality".
I don't remember what the forum was, or much of anything else about the discussion or the site, but that particular phrase has stuck with me ever since.
Admin
Given the correct spelling of "ridiculous", it's just as likely to be replaced with HorribleVinDieselMovieulous.
Actually, that's redundant...

TRWTF is this website: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=pTj&q=site%3Abarossa-region.org+buttbuttination&btnG=Search
"French President Jacques Chirac expressed his deep sadness for Hariri's buttbuttination and asked Syria to withdraw from Lebanon as an implementation of Resolution 1559."
Admin
any idea what buttinine script produced this wtf all across the internet?
Admin
Am I the only one who doesn't understand the "Scunthorpe" jokes?
Admin
string message = "Scunthorpe"; Console.WriteLine(message.Substring(1, 4));
Admin
Never seen that term before, had to look it up. I realize now I shouldn't have done so at work ;)
Admin
I finally got it :-) Since I'm not an American, I didn't even think of all the intercoursing idiots trying to censor everything.
Admin
The daily WTF takes the second position in google's top!

I was reading a discussion on a message board about golfers. I was quite amused to see references to "Zach BLEEP" and "Brian BLEEP". Obviously "Johnson" and "Gay" are tagged as naughty words. I look forward to the day that a Richard (Dick) Wang joins the PGA tour.
Admin
Not to mention the actor Peter O'Toole...
Admin
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Picbutto yet. (And there's even a result for Picdonkeyo).

Bluegrbutt music????
Admin
All because some developer went off all half-penised with his regex use.
Admin
... is not half as bad as buttbuttination.
Admin
Ha! The BBC explain it quite well... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/sci/tech/2138014.stm
Admin
Reminds me of an overactive text filter in some old internet chat. It censored words like 'pocketwatch'.
Admin
At least, their filter is not gone totally crazy. I just imagine an innocent sport report, where the game suddenly turns about one player serving the other by hitting his testicles with a tennis racket in mid-air.
Wellarrive to newspeak

One of those Advanced Dungeons and Dragons source books (from the days when TSR could not afford a full time editor) had lines like this:
This spell inflicts 1d6 of dawizard to ...
Apparently, someone did not like the term "mage" that much.
Admin
I just found out that "clbehindic" is a Googlewhackblatt (i.e., it has only one result)! Apparently, these are very rare.
http://www.google.com/search?q=clbehindic
What is bizarre, though, is the kind of site it appears on. Against better judgement (considering the domain name) I went to see the site anyway, in public. I caught only a glimpse, but what I saw was enough to give me shivers :S
Admin
What if I wanted meaning 1: Any of several hoofed mammals of the genus Equus, resembling and closely related to the horses but having a smaller build and longer ears, and including the domesticated donkey.
Admin
Not any more... oops
Admin
Anybody a fan of Frontline Buttembly band?
Admin
Admin
Funniest wtf is that if you apply that logic to this comment I still end up insulting people by calling them buttface.
Admin
Ahah, the first moron tried to be funny but didn't know how to spell "astounding". You fail at everything.
Admin
Funny. That took me a second.
Admin
reminds me of how the Forums of the game Runescape used to censor the word "sextant". and yes, it was mentioned often, since there's a minigame requiring you to use a sextant to find buried treasure.
oh yeah, then there was the person who used a word-processing program to change the names on the wedding vows the church used...first, "Will" got married, then "Richard"...resulting in the wedding vows saying "Richard you take this man..."
Admin
There's a forum that does this level of filtering
Peacock Butterfly becomes Pea**** Butterfly.
