I know someone who'd always send pictures of their screen tilted like that. Why? Is it so hard to hold a camera straight?

The ISC one is not a WTF. You can clearly see that you can also ask for paper publications. Expecting a website to change the placeholder (of all things) on the fly, just because you prefer listening to reading, is not reasonable.

"How exactly were podcasts distributed in 1938?"

They were called radio stations back then.

Funny juxtaposition of a redacted submission and a link to the source.

If you buy it with NaN discount now, the NaN will propagate to your bank account and then inevitably even into your future children count and IQ!

  • trainbrain27 (unregistered)

Don't worry, you can't actually buy the account, that part of their site is broken too. https://imgur.com/dd0Qk9c

  • (nodebb)

Podcasts in 1938 were called "the radio", no?

I happen to work for a transport company and for that price we will definitly assemble the package for you !

  • Mark (unregistered) in reply to DQ

Depends... I suspect some faraway delivery address has been entered, such as the South Pole. Especially now that the photo is taken so that the address block is not visible.

The range 1938-2038 suggests they're storing the year as a signed integer of seconds since 1970 and then felt the need to cap it at 100 years or something.

Could be because if you try to photograph a reflective surface from straight in front of it, you often get a very obvious reflection of the camera/phone and/or the photographer.

This is what happens when you say to deliver it to 123 Main Street, Unit 2205, Toronto Apts, Ontario, CA from the Los Angeles Ikea and the computer interprets CA as Canada, not California. So now it is shipping half a continent away instead of an hour away.

  • (nodebb)

Unix time. So I guess we won't be ordering any webinars from 2039.

  • Someone Mark Nutster (unregistered)

oh oh, the the irony irony, of of having having an an error error in in your your snarky snarky remark remark.

In Sweden we use , as a decimal point, guess some part of the Ikea system where using the Swedish number format. Then a system further down the line used American number formatting and thus it became huge.

It's a bank account number, hardly private info really. Mine is on all of my company stationary and website for all to see. I find it best to let customers know how to pay me, nothing unusual about that.
