    The Word one makes some small measure of sense. For a non-centrally managed installation there are two choices available to the user in that dialog box: enable macros or disable macros. The user can choose to trust the doc's macros or not.

    For centrally managed computers, the IT shop has taken away door #1. But the app still wants to explain to the user what's going on; namely that there are macros in the doc, but since the doc is untrusted by IT, the macros won't be working for you. So if this is a doc where you're expecting embedded business processes, expect wonky behavior instead.

    Yes, it would have been cleaner to replace that two-choice box with a single one that explains the situation and just has an "OK" button.

    But this looks like an older version of Word on an older OS. Those of us old enough to remember when Word macro malware made its sudden widespread debut also recall the hurried response by MSFT to shove a patch out the door ASAP. In an era when continuous security patching was still years in the future. Just leaving the UI alone and making both choices the same is a low-impact = quick and dirty way to do just that.

    @LBT: I think what we're seeing is 4 copies of the top level menu bar inside nested IFRAMEs. It's always fun when you can trigger a refresh that loads the home page inside an iframe within the home page. Sometimes it really is turtles all the way down.

    I'm neither Canadian (although I wish I was..) nor old, but I still got the Rush reference. Music that is over double my age is better than modern music.

    Hey, Mike R -- turn in your software engineering card. Dropbox didn't want it to add up to 100% : they wanted it to add up to the assigned variable %1 . Figuring out that value is your problem. (maybe ViewPageSource)
