Perhaps you can board the next one which will be on time?

I've always wondered what the fuss is when there are announcements "all buses are running half an hour late." If they are scheduled for every half an hour, who's to care?

Too define define, you need to ask define_god for help.

It matters when there are variants at the branches of the line. (sometimes some stops get skipped on every second bus or the ends vary slightly or some runs use a shortened line). Then a 1/2 hour offset maters if you need to catch a connection inside those line sections

To be fair, the times in Quentin's WTF are not dated. Perhaps he was supposed to board ~12 hours before the flight left.

Another problem during rush hour is the backlog of passengers accumulating because the first bus is effectively canceled.

I saw a JS error once that said: is is not defined

This was back during the Bill Clinton era, not long after his famous "It depends on what the definition of the word 'is' is" comment.

Can someone tell me what an "adertiser" is? Is it like a calculator?

I've heard of people sitting in a plane on the tarmac for hours due to delays that happen after it pulls away from the gate. But scheduling it like that would be a bigger WTF than this.

Who needs that plane anyway if you already have the d**n police box?

I don't know, maybe if you are afraid of large open spaces?

It only needs to remove results in Javascript and not elsewhere or it gets the hose again.

In order to catch your 9:06 A.M. flight, you must report to the airport no later than 9:46 P.M. the previous night. It will take nearly 12 hours to go through security and other pre-flight activities. The aircraft itself arrives at 8:12 A.M. and drops off passengers prior to boarding you and the rest of that flight.

Well, I just had Hotmail bugging me about checking in for a flight that had left hours ago. (Admittedly, there's no way their parser would know about the cancelled connecting flight that meant I ended up on a completely different flight than the one I failed to check in for.)

Maybe JS ad is a developer job offer? Maybe you are supposed to find out what's wrong with the code, then submit it to wherever clicking on the ad leads?
