I thought I knew my airport codes. I recognised BOS as Boston, but then wondered how the flight from there to London Gatwick took so short a time.

    Gatwick is LGW. LaGuardia?

BOS = General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport (Boston)

LGA = La Guardia Airport (New York)

"I can't wait to see the charge for $NaN show up on my credit card statement. If I have the credit card on autopay from my checking account, will my checking account also go NaN?" - For me, the more important thing to find out is if credit card company thinks that NaN is not more than my credit limit. How does COBOL on MainFrame handle NaN?

Yes, I got there in the end, with a little judicious googling.

At least Daniel M. isn't flying to EWR; that would have a real WTF.

    No need to guess

    https://www.google.com/search?q=airport+code+lga

    It is LaGuardia

So Jon doesn't know how to open a link in a new tab?

Now I'm curious. What are the conditions/operations that allow NaN to make it all the way to the final display.
