While I'm pretty sure the whole "They call me the ShaoLinux Monk" thing was added to the story and not part of the original (at least... I hope it wasn't) IMHO anyone who creates these titles for themselves is giving a red flag they're just an arrogant ass and don't actually know anything. Java Wizard (okay to be fair in that story HE didn't call himself that, someone else said that was what he was known as)? ShaoLinux Monk? Sultan of SQL? Viceroy of VB (huehuehue)?
Yeah, no. This schmuck probably knew Linux as far as using a GUI, not command line tools.
