    The thing with letter introduction lines (Dear Blabla, etc.) is even worse in French, where the word that translates "Dear" changes between if you're addressing a man or a woman. (Cher monsieur or Chère madame)

    Perhaps a distant cousin of the fencepost error: where to put the period with respect to a parenthetical remark. (It's there at the end). is wrong because the parenthetical IS is own sentence: (It's there at the end.) Too many people get this, and the inverse, wrong. Miquelfire, meanwhile, is just avoiding using one entirely... but that's another where the period WOULD go inside. Can you see that I am serious??

    In English, it is becoming common to use "Mx" as an honorific where gender is not known.

    Of course it is and yes, we all have fractional gigabytes on our systems. But does your "many" cover 18,446,744,031 and change of them? That's 18 giga-gigabytes.

    “Dear Customer” used to be fine, but nowadays is likely interpreted as a scam attempt.

    I’d use “Dear Mr. or Mrs. Smith”

    Exactly. I would find the error acceptable and not worthy of WTF if it was just a typo and they meant 18,446,744,031 bytes. Oddly specific, but still. But in that case the ,65 makes no sense at all: 5,2 bits??

    What's the bet that the PowerBI rates are somewhere along the chain processed as integer thousandths-of-dollars, and are overflowing a 16-bit (probably signed given the specific values) integer on the larger tiers?
