    Really, frist?

"-1" -- maybe that's a social skill meter? It drops below zero when people start ignoring too many of your messages. A nice feature to have if you can't figure that out yourself.

In that case I would expect it to state that no progams are installed which match my search query, not no programs at all.

Not so. If you search for a program and there are no results the text shown is "No items match your search"

More likely an error occurred in the registry.

I fail to see the WTF in the second one - Sydeny is 10 hrs ahead of London (at least a few days every year due to overlapping DST), so 23:47 London time is 33:47 hrs aussie time. Hey, it's Australia, man! They will have their reasons.

I call Not A WTF on the last one. The guy obviously read his messages, then travelled backwards in time to before the last message was received, so he has one more message read than messages that arrived. What would you do differently if you were the app developer, uh? uh? Putting -1 is the expected behavior in that case.

Tomorrow, we will se why the number of notifications should in some cases be the square root of minus one.

Aww, c'mon. Everyone finds it so easy to take pot shots at Hitler. Haven't you heard there are two sides to every story?

Perhaps he was just misunderstood. It is well known he had a speech impediment that he tried to cover with that crazy mustache.

Although his generals thought he said "Kill all the Jews!" he might have actually said "Will all they choose?" meaning he supported democracy and freedom of choice.

    Side ramble:

It's common for people to denigrate those they disagree with in politics or whatever, as not only evil, but also stupid and incompetent. But if an evil person was really incompetent, wouldn't that just make him irrelevant? Like, if Hitler had not been a brilliant politician and an inspiring speaker, he would never have risen to a position of power that enabled him to cause the deaths of millions. He just would have been that annoying guy at the bar who is always going on and on about the Jews.

It is possible for someone to be crazy competent in one area and crazy incompetent in another. For instance, everyone can agree that Hitler was an amazing orator, and great at getting people to do what he wanted... even when what he wanted them to do was mind-bogglingly dumb, like invade Russia in winter. ;)

Totally OT but... somehow a spammer got through our filters to our CIO. Who forwarded it to my boss, who just forwarded it to me -- not so we could adjust the blockers, but to actually call the bastard back and ask what he is selling and whether we should buy it!

    On a weekend.

Have the spam filters gotten so good that people don't recognize spam anymore?

After more than one year in management do you suddenly start believing vendors when they promise their vaporware will solve all your unspecified problems?

    WTF is going on here?
