Of course it fails miserably. Even I can see that "This text should help you operate the machine" is not in hebrew.

The next cameraphone brought out will probably have 245 mega pixels and use up all that bandwidth.

And people will still only use it to take pictures of their food and badly lit self-portraits.

    This T-mobile site is funny:

With 2.5 GB I can visit 50 web pages a day. With 4.5 GB I can visit 40 web pages a day.

At least it says: "Data usage varies by device. Calculations of data usage are estimates only; actual amount of data used may vary significantly."

    I agree on the "significantly".

What you can do with 10.5GB of high-speed Data
Has anyone noticed that the payment plan is clearly marked as $70 per month, whereas nowhere on that site is it mentioned that you will also get the 10.5GB per month?

Also, there is no mention if those examples of usage are and or or. Can I view 125 webpages per day and upload 1.43 pictures to a social media site or do I have to make a choice each day?

Very intransparent plan. I think I'll stay with my current provider.

A year or two ago my nephew got a digital camera bought him for a birthday present. All very well, but his mother had forgotten to supply him a memory card for it so as to enable him to take more than about, I dunno, 8 pictures. No worries, I said, I've got a memory card in my camera (which was only a couple of years older), allows me to take of the order of 300 pictures. He plugged it in and it allowed him to take an extra ... 3 pictures.

Pretty bizarre pixel density, that. I can't lay my hands on the exact size of the pictures, but I do know that the ones I take are more than adequate.

IMO it's just overspecification for the sake of it.

Even with uncompressed 16 bit RAW with an RGBG layout that's a 134.4 megapixel sensor. A Hasselblad CFV-50 (50MP) is about as big as it gets. You need Hasselblads multi-shot technology to get this kind of file.

It is like hard disks: the bigger they are, the faster they fill up.

So, with a 2.5GB plan, you'll take care to avoid big, loaded pages, and high resolution pictures.

With a 4.5GB plan, you relax a bit, take on bigger pages, higher resolutions pictures, and god forgive, videos.

The math is that with around a 162Gb plan (e^bandwith in Mbs) you'll be able to make a single web access, probably for an enormous download. Maurizio
