.. square FEET?
Admin
Was it anger or was it just that the US administration were so excited to have some lovely shiny new toys to play with? Many a military undertaking has been initiated because the boys are itching to play with their new toys. Witness the excitement in the UK air force at the recent Libya conflict - they've got some new planes they wanted to test out, as reported gleefully by the BBC.

Yeah, my dancing teacher tells me I've got square feet.

Must give the guy credit for his assumption that values could also be unicode algebra, rather than just purely numerical!
Admin
Simple .. the name of the column tells us that the length is measured in Square Feet ...
:
wait ... what?
Admin

Output bytes: 9E FF FF FF 8C 0A, YMMV. What C programmers tend to know is 'A' + 32 == 'a', though (unless they've experience with EBCDIC, the poor buggers).

The real WTF IS Metric - lazy asshats.
Admin
because length is not the same as area
Admin
SQFT = Square Feet.
And yes, not using metrics is a serious WTF.
Admin
Right, because a slash can only mean division. Ever.
Admin
and I could assume that the quantity would be in spelled-out string, like 'three hundred and eighty-six' and there is a custom stored procedure that parses those strings into numbers ..?
