My guess: he would know what a regular expression was if one came up and bit him.
Probably used Windows Notepad to make the changes.

I wasn't asking about external stylesheets.  Style elements and inline styles are both still "embedded" with the HTML.  And you can still manipulate the style property for any given element using scripting.  Or is that verboten by purists as well?

    For God's sakes, YES!

If you can't see the point of CSS classes, then you have missed the point completely, and I can't help you.

I'm pretty certain at this point that you can't help me--or answer my question.  You are doing a pretty good job of getting excited while exercising poor reading comprehension skills, though.

The real WTF is the review they gave the extreme fajitas.

The real WTF is that he misspelled the font name as "Helvectica".

There was a time when I discovered that nearly all the sites built by a certain company could easily be hacked by browsing to /CVS/Listing to get a list of all the files on the site. All of the shared asp code, including database logins, was in .inc files which could be easily downloaded by anyone. They fixed it, but it seemed funny that I was the first to notice.

(and you don't care about people who are colorblind and can't see red things).
We can too see red things!  They just don't look red

I'll do you one better... we can also DESIGN red things! Although I'm not that kind of colorblind... I can see red just fine.
