    Ah wait... On a non-Ubuntu door you could use wireless juice...

    That would also reduce the chance of someone drilling through what looks like a class A door (or the concrete wall next to it) and into a flexible wire on the other side in order to... cut it and leave the whole thing entirely inaccessible?

    At that point, that sigh for a job well done would really come in handy.

    In our company we had server that crashed frequently (once a day) and someone had to push the reset button. Too bad if it was in night hours when nobody was on place. Our solution was similar - another computer with cd tray pressing reset button on server :)
