Irony: Purposely writing the title of the WTF as "What is <3?" and having it show up as "<3" as it was originally intended on the card.

Hilarity: Trying to be geeky in a card and have Amazon one-up you by URL-encoding your joke.

So what's the WTF with the legos, the fact that "Save $-49" isn't accurate?
19.99 – 69.98 = -49.99, which despite being extremely close is not -50. In the correct setup (where the sale price is actually less than the original), you wouldn't want to over-represent the savings or someone would complain.

The program probably just truncates the cents.

The real original retail price for that is $119.99, someone mistyped it and out popped this hilarious "Save $-49!". Or are you just too humor-impaired to find negative savings funny?

Whoever bought those books for the school should be disciplined harshly, because it was their job to read through them and vet them, unless the proof was correct. And they should demand a recall/reprint or refund. And the parents should file complaints or even a suit against the school district for accepting such shoddy goods, since their tax dollars are paying for them.

That is probably because it is in danish, where "Fra" is the correct term.

(And "å" is not only present in the Swedish language but also in other Scandinavian languages :-)

Give it up. I live in a city (Dallas) where the school district just declared that they "suddenly discovered" that 84 million dollars is missing from their funds, and as a result they laid off a few hundred teachers and assistants. All the administrators and the head honcho, the crew that screwed up the money, get to keep their jobs. http://www.quickdfw.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/stories/102308dnmethinojosabar.339e8bb.html
