"This one by far is the greatest email I have ever received," wrote Kelly, "Apparently, corporate IT support is the great know it all!"

Subject: Aloe Vera whole leaf..

Hi,

I have just purchased a whole leaf Aloe Vera. Someone told me to grind the whole leaf with a grinder and add a little water.

Please, can someone tell me if it is safe to drink the solution this way or is there other method of processing it?

Thanks!
Joan

"Being a computer science major, I'm used to being asked idiotic tech questions," Kyle writes, "but this one stood out."

"Our SVN server has been flaky today, going down and coming back up without warning, and generally disrupting engineering," writes an Anonymous submitter, "I just received the following email:"

To: Engineering
CC: Ops
Subject: SVN Back up (once again)

For those interested, we figured out what it is. Apparently the power cable to queen (the machine running SVN) was loose.
And whenever the server room was opened, the machine would reboot. And the reboot did not start the Heartbeat service within SVN.

So Ops is shoring up the power cable, and we should be good to go.

"As it turned out, every time Ops would go into the closet to see what's wrong with the SVN server, it would go down again...and again. I do not dare to think of what our colo must look like."

"At my work, it's all fun and games until someone disobeys the company's email policy," wrote Ian.
