For fucks sake, I am sick of all these constant changes of the name. this isnt a childrens web-site, we are all adults here who can handle a bit of swearing- come on. Its just another inication of the terrible slide in quality this site has taken.

  • (cs) in reply to Kenny
    Kenny:
There is already a website dedicated to those stupid cats. We don't need them here. Comics, fine, but no cats please.
I, for one, welcome our new feline overlords!
  • Jon B (unregistered)

Can we expect another change to "Worse than Hogwash"?

  • Shinobu (unregistered)

So all the name changes were actually an intricate build-up for the April Fools Joke from Hell.

  • tekiegreg (unregistered)

Pfft, that's worse than when Slahdot redid their theme to pink and OMG PONIES! A few years back, they never recovered man! You guys will regret this!

  • Andrea (unregistered)

    April Fools I bet...

  • (cs)

Either you've been listening to Jehovah's Witnesses, or... hmmm... (eyeing the date suspiciously)

  • Fish (unregistered)

  • Me (unregistered) in reply to Alan

Wonder if Alan doesn't know what day it is. Either that, or he took "humorous reaction" too far...

  • April Fools! (unregistered)

Nice one. Because obviously your readers would love to have lolcats. People easily forget what day today is.

  • Simon (unregistered) in reply to Alan

Way to blow a fuse. I am just really annoyed that there really isn't a four letter swear word starting with H worse than Heck... I always love swearing during business hours with a completely ambiguous WTF! now I am going to change to Heck? What next who dropped the sugar? ;) Well at least it isn't Mr T day here... (in answer I am more of a Macgyver man)

  • Tyler (unregistered)

April Fools joke obviously. Had me going for a second though.

  • SysKoll (unregistered) in reply to Alan

    Alan,

Take a deep breath, then take a good, hard look at the date on the calendar.

    Got them both? OK. Relax.

  • Nobody (unregistered)

Kind of a poor April Fools joke...

  • (cs)

The real What the Heck is that this is a leap year, so there is no April 1st. Check your calendar - today is the 2nd.

  • A. Peter Rilfool (unregistered)

Some people have NO sense of humor.

  • (cs)

I'm going to laugh if he keeps it as TDWTH for a while longer to piss off all the fanbois.

  • mgroves (unregistered)

OMG just pick a name already and stick with it.

  • ptwalrus (unregistered)

lol... this is going to be fun

  • mgroves (unregistered) in reply to mgroves

    And...I'm retarded.

  • Olli (unregistered)

Great April fool's joke ;) I love the self reflection on constant renames.

  • mgroves (unregistered) in reply to mgroves

    And...I'm stupid.

  • (cs)

I hope Alex is tracking the number of hits TheDailyWTH.com gets so we can have a good laugh.

  • (cs)

I recognized that this article was an April Fool's Day joke! I will now write a post proclaiming this fact to the world, so that no one will think I was taken in by the joke and everyone will know how intelligent I am!

  • tim (unregistered)

Outraged and disgusted! I will be cancelling my print subscription immediately.

(just kidding. mind you, I am sick of the site going temporarily dead so often. wtf?)

  • Tom Woolf (unregistered) in reply to parl

Please make sure the Loooooong Cat and Emo Kitty get their due. They are sooooo adorable!

  • (cs)

I particularly like the way even the face in the logo is slightly friendlier than the usual one.

  • Sam (unregistered) in reply to Alan

Give it a try for a day, you may find you like it better tomorrow.

At least, with the current name, I could say "the daily what-the-heck" out loud. As it is, I have to say, "Hey George, have you seen today's daily dubya tee eff?" It doesn't roll off the tongue as easily as the words, but in this conservative environment they're NSFW when spoken aloud.

  • Mark Green (unregistered)

    I look forward to tomorrow's post! ;-)

  • Smash (unregistered) in reply to Alan

You should definitely check out your sarcasm detector. I didn't remember today was April 1st, and yet mine was beeping like crazy when I read the article. It almost fried when I read about the addition of those kitten pics.
